libgromacs1 software package provides GROMACS molecular dynamics sim, shared libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgromacs1
libgromacs1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgromacs1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgromacs1 *
You will get with libgromacs1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
